Planner

An established supplier and wholesaler to fashion retailers in both the UK and Europe is looking for a planner. You will maximize business profit through the profitable planning and control of stock management. The candidate should be highly numerate, possess excellent time management and organizational skills.
Responsibilities include:
• Forecast key items in-season and manage the portfolio of best sellers of different categories
• Identify trends in new categories by keeping abreast with fashion scene
• Reconcile assortment plans to financial plans such as
- Analysing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes to maximise profits
- Analysing buying patterns, repeats and post season
• Manage stock levels, plan and allocating distribution of stock to maximise sales and profit opportunities
• Understand and analyse market trends and competitor performance, to create a unique Sales Strategy
• Ensure that the business is well informed of the current sales performance, assortment plans and merchandise strategies
• Review plans with management to ensure departments strategies are in line and consistent with company's financial goals
