Summary of main
purpose of role
You will be expected to ensure the company maintains the highest standards of quality and service and meets both external and internal requirements, including legal compliance and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities • Promoting a culture of continual improvement and world class business and manufacturing performance through the development, implementation and monitoring of the company’s quality, environmental and health and safety management systems in line with internal and external standards and specifications
• Maintaining the company’s formal management systems, procedures, controls and documentation procedures and working with accreditation bodies to ensure audit requirements of ISO9001:2008, BRC/IOP are fulfilled and maintained
• Implementing audit regimes, policies and procedures and training to ensure that manufacturing and administrative activities routinely and reliably meet customers expectation and national and international standards
• Ensure BSI Standards in regards to Cleaning protocols of ASTM E2042-09 are met
• Working with functional colleagues, ensure that all employees are trained and equipped to maintain the highest standards of quality assurance
• Using observation, analysis and experience, champion the continual improvement of the business’s performance through the design, implementation and monitoring of agreed improvement plans.
• Leading on investigations and improvement activities including root-cause analysis and CPAR processes in regard of internal and external issues and opportunities.
• Working with other departments to ensure service and quality requirements expected from external suppliers are delivered
• Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing management information and reports
• Manage and develop the capabilities of the quality team, providing leadership and guidance to staff where necessary, including implementation of training and development action plans as appropriate
